PURPOSE:To make the mechanical durability of the joint part of an organic conductive sheet sufficient, to shorten a working time, and to improve productivity by increasing the tension strength of the joint part to 3-8.5kg/cm by ultrasonic welding. CONSTITUTION:A sheet photosensitive body is formed by laminating a conductive layer, an undercoating layer, and the organic photoconductive phootosensitive layer on a base film and one end part edge 11 thereof and the other end part edge 12 are superposed one over the other; and the surface 13 is irradiated with an ultrasonic wave from the tip 41 of the horn 4 of an ultrasonic wave generating device and the horn 4 is moved to weld the end edges thermally. Consequently, the joing part has 3-8.5kg/cm tension strength, which is practically sufficient; and the working time is shortened and the production efficiency is improved. |
