METHOD FOR REPLENISHING PROCESSING LIQUID

PURPOSE:To simplify liquid replenishment and to obtain a good image by making the replenishers to respective development processing tanks for an internal latent image type silver halide photographic sensitive material and surface latent image type silver halide photographic sensitive material common and setting the Br' concn. in the former processing tank at a specific value. CONSTITUTION:The replenishers to the respective development processing tanks for processing lines for the internal latent image type AgX photographic sensitive material having >=1 layers of emulsion layers incorporated therein with internal latent image type silver halide (AgX) particles having preliminarily unfogged particle surfaces and the surface latent image type AgX photographic sensitive material having >=1 layers of the emulsion layers incorporated therein with the surface latent image type AgX particles are made common in the stage of replenishing the replenishers to the processing tanks for both materials in order to process the development of said materials in the respectively separate processing lines. The amt. of the replenisher is so set that the Br' concn. in the development processing tank for the internal latent image type AgX photographic sensitive material is maintained at 5.0X10<-3>-2.0X10<-2>g ion/l. The space for installing the replenisher tank is thereby lessened and the administration thereof is made easy. The good positive image is stably obtd. at high sensitivity with both photographic sensitive materials.
