PURPOSE:To obtain a thin-gage marking material which is easy to produce, by laminating a specified self-adhesive layer and a specified surface layer on a peelable material. CONSTITUTION:10-200pts.wt. opaque particles (e.g., Al particles) are dispersed in 100pts.wt. photo-setting pressure-sensitive adhesive composition consisting of a copolymer of isooctyl acrylate, glycidyl methacrylate, acrylamide, and methyl acrylate in the weight ratio of about 62:10:3:25, ethyl acetate, and a complex salt of triarylsulfonium to give an adhesive composition. This composition is applied to a thickness of 15mum or more on a peelable material 1, such as a silicone-coated paper, to form a self-adhesive layer 2, which is then irradiated with ultraviolet rays for a short time to harden the surface thereof, thus forming a surface layer 3. |
