A windscreen (1) and a curved wall a of a water-collecting well (4) located below the windscreen are cleaned by a rotary wiper. The latter may comprise wiper blade assemblies (12, 13, 14) mounted on wiper arms (15, 18) rotated by a drive shaft (17) mounted on a support (20). - The latter may be raised and lowered by gearing. The employment of a curved wall a facilitates installation in front engine vehicle bodywork as compared with the use of a wall flush with the windscreen. |
