The invention relates to a test strip with a sample absorption capacity which can be specified and a process for its production. In this test strip, the reagent strip is fixed in a depression on the carrier. The size of this depression determines the volume of sample which can be absorbed. The excess of sample liquid is taken up by an absorbent material on the edge of the depression. |
