PURPOSE:To confirm the normal operation of a dust collector, by sampling a part of blast furnace gas passing through the dust collector and burning it and observing the color tone of a flame. CONSTITUTION:At the time of carrying out the furnace top pressure power generation by using a blast furnace gas, dust removing treatment is carried out by a dust collector preliminarily. A part of the blast furnace gas passed through the collector is sampled and is introduced into a gas duct 7 and is introduced into an inspection burner 6 through a valve 8 and an orifice 10. Further, a rise of sampling gas jetted from a burner nozzle 11 is obstructed by a flame stabilizing plate 15 and the gas is raised by being mixed with air for combustion in a windshield member 14 and is burnt in a combustion room 13. A color tone of this flame is observed from a viewing window 12 and confirmation is made by a pale or orange color as to whether the collector is normally operated or not. |
