发明名称 MEASURING DEVICE FOR ROLLING LENGTH
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve an accuracy of measuring a length by detecting an existence of a material to be rolled stopped by pressing a stopper, and by detecting the rear end of a rolling mill with an image sensor based on a signal from a pulse generator equipped on a roll shaft. CONSTITUTION:The material 8 to be rolled is stopped by pressing the stopper 9 equipped downstream the finishing mill 2. Then, the existence of the material 8 to be rolled is detected by hot ingot detectors 5-7. Moreover, the rough full length is obtained by an arithmetic operation with a length measuring circuit 17. This rough full length is transferred to the movement distance arithmetic circuit 18a of the image sensor 15, and the arithmetic operation is performed by an equation based on the movement distance of the image sensor 15. In this way, by measuring the rear end shape part of the material to be rolled on stationary state, the accuracy of the length measurment is improved.</p>
