PURPOSE:To improve the correct operation of a thermal transfer system by applying on a base film leuco compound, special phenol compound and non- volatile tertiary amine using a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:Leuco compound which represents the crystal violet lactone, phenols which have volatility above a certain temperature and also the phenolic hydroyl group and the tertiary amine with volatility above said temperature are applied on a base film such a mylar film using wax or other binder resins, thus manufacturing an ink ribbon for thermal transfer. The phenols include alpha- naphtol, 4-tertiary butyl phenol, etc. The tertiary amines include tribenzyl amine, tributyl amine, triamyl amine, etc. |
