摘要 |
PURPOSE:To thoroughly prevent the penetration of air from a nozzle part by forming the space including the sliding surface of a nozzle plate and the joint part between an immersion nozzle and nozzle plate as a hermetic chamber shut off from the external air. CONSTITUTION:A sliding nozzle device is formed of a stationary metallic flask 1 for supporting an upper stationary plate 7, an attachable and detachable sealing metallic flask 2 and a metallic holder 3 for supporting a lower stationary plate 9. The holder 3 seals and joins an O-ring fitted to a hollow groove 3a at the outside peripheral end face to a sealing wall 2b in an aperture 2a of the flask 2. A sealing ring 4 for sealing the periphery at the top end of the immersion nozzle 10 is connected to the holder 3 to form the hermetic chamber in the flask 1 including the upper part of the nozzle 10. An inert gas is introduced into such chamber. The penetration of the air from the nozzle part is thereby thoroughly prevented. |
