PURPOSE:To enable the range of vision adjacent to the limit of a mirror movement to be secured by enabling a mirror to be operative positively up to the preset position even if the mirror comes close to the limit of the mirror movement. CONSTITUTION:An electrically-driven mirror device includes a position detector 3 which detects the position of a mirror so as to output operation data, a preset operation means 1, a mirror drive means 2, and a controlling means 4 which controls the mirror actuation. The preset memory means 1 is a means which stores the operation data outputted from the detecting means 3 while the data are corresponded to the specified preset operation. And when the limit of a mirror movement is detected while the mirror is being controlled, the controlling means 4 functions as a means which allows the operation control in the vertical and horizontal directions to be suspended so as to allow only the control in either the vertical or horizontal direction, and keeps continuing the mirror control unit detected data will correspond to the operation data contained in the preset memory means 1 after the completion of the above said control. |
