PURPOSE:To scarcely leak a liquid crystal to the outside of an injection hole at the time of injecting the liquid crystal, and to efficiently execute the injection by providing the injection hole in which the outside opening part of a cell has a wider area than the inside opening part of the cell. CONSTITUTION:The titled cell is provided with a liquid crystal injection hole 4 of a conical trapezoidal shape in which the outside opening part 2 of the cell of the first substrate or the second substrate 1 has a wider area than the inside opening part 3. In this way, since the cell is provided with the injection hole in which the outside opening part of the cell has a wider area than the inside opening part of the cell, a liquid crystal is scarcely leaked to the outside of the injection hole at the time of injecting the liquid crystal, and with respect to the liquid crystal which is used for the injection, the quantity of the liquid crystal to be injected increases efficiently. Especially, since the injection hole is formed in a shape of a conical trapezoid, the liquid crystal is injected so as to slide along a gentle slope.
