PURPOSE:To make an antenna system smaller in size and lighter in weight, by using square micro-strip antennas whose one sides are short-circuited with a grounding conductor side as element antennas and alternately arranging the element antennas which respectively resonate to two different frequencies. CONSTITUTION:Element antennas 2a-5a and 2b-5b which respectively resonate to two different frequencies are alternately arranged on a dielectric base plate 11 and uneven electric power distributers 6a and 6b are provided in corresponding to the antennas 2a-5a and 2b-5b. A honey-comb core 31 is put between two skins 32. A square radiating element 34 is provided on the opposite side of the base plate 11. The grounding conductor 33 is electrically short-circuited with one side of the radiating element 34 by means of a short-circuit plate 35. When the feeding position of the antenna is selected to a location, where the input impedance of the antenna matches the impedances of coaxial cables 7a-10a and 7b-10b in this system, no matching circuit is required. Moreover, the uneven electric power distributors can be housed to the backside of the base plate. |
