PURPOSE:To prevent the leak of fuel from the float chamber of a carburetor by installing a cut-off valve which is interloced with the tilt-up operation of a propulsion unit into the intermediate part of a fuel feeding pipe. CONSTITUTION:In an internal-combustion engine 15, a fuel tank and the float chamber of a carburetor 17 is connected by a fuel feeding pipe 19 equipped with a manual operating pump 19A, and a cut-off valve 26 which is interlocked with tilt-up operation and automatically cuts off the fuel feeding pipe 19 is installed midway into the fuel feeding pipe 19. Therefore, in tilt-up operation, the communication between an inflow port 29 and an effluence port 30 is cut off by a valve body 28, and the inflow of the fuel in the fuel tank 16 into the float chamber is prevented even if the manual operating pump 19A is erroneously operated in the state where the valve closing pressure for an opening/closing valve lowers because of a float, and the leak of the fuel from the float chamber 18 can be certainly prevented. |
