<p>PURPOSE:To set a TOD clock with correction by setting the difference between the present time point and the set time point to a timer of a back-up device for system operation. CONSTITUTION:A CPU3 sets an auxiliary clock 5 and a timer 8 after the working of an information processor 1 is over. Here the present time of an information processing system is set to a TOD clock 7, a set time obtained, and a set time obtained by adding a margin time to the power supply is set to an auxiliary clock 5, and the difference between the set time and the present time is set to the timer 8 respectively. Thus the setting permission signal 12 is produced at a time point when the time set by the timer 8 has just passed and the time point held by the clock 5 is set to the clock 7 even in case the clock 7 gains during an OFF period of the system power supply. Thus the clock 7 can be set with correction.</p> |
