PURPOSE:To immerse one of rolls facing each other into a molten metal and to permit the extrusion of a solidified metal sticking to the roll by disposing restraining members on both sides of the gap where said rolls face each other to form a passage, providing a stopper deep in the passage and disposing a die thereto. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal 10 on the outside periphery of the roll 1 is cooled to the solidified metal 11 and sticks to the roll 1 when part of the roll 1 is immersed into the molten metal 10 in a tank 7. The metal is then brought into the pressurizing passage 6 by the rotation of the roll 1 and the metal 1 is forcibly moved deep into the passage 6 by frictional force. The movement is blocked by the stopper 5 deep in the passage and an internal pressure is generated by the succeeding material pushed further from the rear. The solidified metal 11 pressed to the high pressure state in the above-mentioned manner is extruded from the die 8 by the pressure thereof as the extruding force, by which an extruded product 20 is obtd. |
