PURPOSE:To allow various combinations by arranging a basic unit including a rectangular block-shaped frame, a main spindle unit incorporated into it, ad a tool box unit on a fitting base. CONSTITUTION:A square hole 1a and a rectangular hole 1b are provided on a rectangular frame 1, a frame body 3 is inserted into the square hole 1a and is slidden in the Z direction of a main spindle 7. Next, a bracket 4 is placed in the space of the rectangular hole 1b and is screwed with a Z-axis ball screw 6. The main spindle 7 is pivotally supported in the center hole of the frame body 3, and a tool box 13 is mounted movably in the X-axis direction and is screwed with an X-axis ball screw 16. A basic unit 23 is fitted to a base 24, with one of its fitting reference faces A, B, C selected, thus constituting an NC lathe compatible with the flow of a production line. Accordingly, an inexpensive line not requiring a large space can be constituted. |
