PURPOSE:To always position a distributor to the vicinity of a liquid surface by providing both a specified joining part and the distributor to a flurry tank having an apparatus wherein stored coal-oil (water) slurry is circulated and stirred. CONSTITUTION:High-concn. coal-water (oil) slurry 2 stored in a tank 1 is cracked with a cracking mixer 6 via a sludge collector 4 when uniformalization of the concn. is necessitated and it is made to the slurry of particulate coal particles. The concn. of slurry 2 stored in the tank 1 is uniformized by circulating it through a pipe 8 with a screw type pump 10a. On the other hand, the liquid surface 2a of slurry 2 stored in the tank 1 exists at the vertically changed positions when slurry 2a is circulated. But a distributor 20 is always maintained to the vicinity of the liquid surface 2a by means of a floating boxes 22 and nozzles 21 are maintained to the vicinity of the liquid surface 2a or to nearly same plane as the liquid surface 2a. Further, even if the position of the distributor 20 is changed by following the liquid surface 2a, circulating operation is enabled by adjusting a vertically extensible and contractible joining part 24. |
