The strap for a mask for administering gases or nebulized gas/liquid mixtures is moulded in one piece of non-elastic material and comprises an elastic section formed by at least one transversely disposed link which may flex to provide elastic extension of the length of the strap. In one case this is provided by an X section and in another case by a corrugated section. The edge of the mask may be roughened so as to prevent a build-up of liquid where the mask meets the face. <IMAGE> |
