PURPOSE:To realize a driving circuit of simple constitution by leading out column electrodes in relation with a color array of picture elements and also leading out row electrodes in relation with the color array of the driving circuit respectively. CONSTITUTION:Two of red, R, green G, and blue B are arrayed alternately on each row electrode; and each column electrode is led out upward and downward, line by line, and the picture element of each line led out to either side corresponds to one color. Red and green are arrayed alternately on the 1st row, green and blue are arrayed on the 2nd row, and blue and read are arrayed on thd 3rd row; and those three rows are regarded as a repetitive unit to form a row electrode group constituting matrix electrode structure, and this group is arrayed periodically. Thus, color led out to one side is different, row by row, and the same color is led out in the same row. Further, a color switching circuit 3 is arranged at a front stage wherein a signal is received to a line memory 2 to perform color switching. Consequently, the memory 2 is arranged at the upper and lower parts respectively by one and the circuit constitution is simplified. |
