Naphthalenyl imidazopyridine derivs. of formula (I) are new. (I) are prepd. by reacting (II) with (III) in the inert solvent (i.e. benzene, toluene, xylene, ethyleneglycole, acetone). Rxn. temp. is 50-200≦̸C. R1 and R2 are H, C1-4alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, alkyloxy, benzyloxy, (C1-4 alkyl)thio. hydroxy, halo, cyano and nitro independently; G and D are N each, or D is CH; A is amino; B is - COOH.
