The tool comprises a housing (6) with a groove engaging a lock tongue (3a). The housing can be turned by the hand grip (7) from a starting position in which the tongue is straight to a final position where the tongue is bent through 180 deg. The final position is defined by the housing coming into contact with the side of the packing container, and in which the lock tongue is at a predetermined distance from the side of the container. The track has a bevelled opening edge to reduce the risk of the tongue being bent out of shape and crumpling. Several houses can be fitted to a single hand grip. |
