PURPOSE:To efficiently isolate cardionatrin, by transducing a specific vector to a host, cultivating the host to give fused protein containing cardionatrin and cleaving the protein. CONSTITUTION:A developing vector containing a structural gene to code cardionatrin is transduced to a host, the host is cultivated to give the fused protein and the fused protein is cleaved in the following manner B to produce cardionatrin. (i) A fused cell wherein at least part of protein of Escherichia coil is connected through a connection part consisting of an amino acid sequence is linked to cardionatrin and the connection part has a cleavage site to recognize specifically a protease at its carbon end group is used as the fused protein. (ii) In the manner B, the fused protein is treated with a protease which has site recognition specificity and does not cleave the interior peptide bond of cardionatrin, so that peptide bond of cardionatrin is cleaved. |
