PURPOSE:To enable a highly accurate decision to be attained even under a complex operating condition by a method wherein a decision standard for the presence or a absence of flame is set based on a plurality of factors influencing a flame light intensity such as a gas flow rate, a load of burner and a fuel material or the like. CONSTITUTION:An outer pattern formation part 11 inputs various parameters as a combustion pattern constitution signal to form a pattern for the present combustion state. For example, the combustion state is classified into a plurality of combustion states based on a fuel type signal 10a such as oil, gas the like, a fuel oil (gas) pressure signal 10b, PG feeding volume signal 10c and an air ratio signal of combustion air at a burner part or the like, and then a flame decision set value corresponding to each of the patterns is stored in a flame decision set value memory part 12 in advance. At the flame decision part 8, a set value corresponding to the section output of an outside signal pattern formation part 11 (pattern output) is selected and the ignition or a extinction of the flame is decided in response to the selected set value. |
