PURPOSE:To facilitate the removal of a rotary shaft bearing, by combining a spider with an intermediate ring such that a lug on a spider may be fitted into a through-hole in the intermediate ring by rotating a headed rod secured to the spider, and by providing a turning means for converting the sliding motion of a piston rod into the rotation of the headed rod. CONSTITUTION:A piston 8 is engaged thereto with a headed rod 12 secured to a spider 12 so that the headed rod 12 is only allowed to rotate,and a lug section 12' on the spider 12 is always made into contact with an intermediate ring 13 by means of a resilient means 10, the intermediate ring 13 being formed therein with a through hole 13'. Further, a pin 17 for rotating the headed rod 11 in association with the sliding motion of a piston rod 17 is secured to the headed rod 11, and a turning block 26 adapted to be engaged with the pin 27 is secured to the piston rod 17. In this arrangement, when pressure medium is led from a pump 20 through a coupler 21, the piston 8 slides overcoming the resilient member 10, and the contact between the spider 12 and the intermediate ring 13 is released. At this time the piston rod 17 is slid to turn the headed rod 11 and therefore, is separated. Accordingly, it is possible to rapidly remove the rotary shaft flange in a narrow space. |
