PURPOSE:To permit the printing width of letters, etc., to be optionally changed while keeping the pitch between dots within a fixed range by using a system where data are received or output by changing the frequency of output clock and receiving clock. CONSTITUTION:When the printing width of input data is magnified in 4/3 times for printing for example, data stored in the first shift register 22 are synchronized with clock CLK1, clock of a clock frequency of 3Mz is given, and data D1 are output from the register 22. The data are received by using receiving clock CLK of a clock frequency of 4MHz and stored in the second shift register 23. As a result, input data D are stored as data D2 magnified in 4/3 times. |
