PURPOSE:To prevent a high strength steel spring device from being corroded and broken due to corrosion, by coating a metal which are more basic than the spring material on a spring seat section adapted to make into contact with the spring. CONSTITUTION:A leaf spring 1a is flame-coated with Zn, and a load steel component 2a is plated with Al by fusing. When a load P is exerted to the leaf spring 1a, the flame-coated film on the leaf spring is liable to be peeled off. Even in such a case, it is subjected to anti-corrosion measure due to the Al plating on the outer surface of the part 3a. The method of attaching the basic metal set on the outer surface of the spring seat should be such that it is prevented from peeled off by surface-pressure, but, generally since not so high tensile stress is loaded to the spring seat side, it is not necessary to fear that the strength thereof is lowered. Therefore, it is possible to use the fused-plating of Al or Zn, and to use an Al explosion press-bonded clad steel. |
