PURPOSE:A composition suitable as a half electrically-conductive layer bonded to a crosslinked olein polymer insulating layer of an electrical conductor, having good valance of adhesiveness and releasability comprising an ethylene ethyl acrylate copolymer and an ethylene vinyl acetate-vinyl chloride terpolymer. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer having 1-50g/10min. melt index and 30-50wt% bonded ethyl acrylate is blended with (B) 18-330pts.wt., preferably 18-116pts.wt. ethylene-vinyl acetate-vinyl chloride terpolymer containing 30-85wt% bonded ethylene, 5-60wt% bonded vinyl acetate and 10-70wt% bonded vinyl chloride. Further, to provide half electrical conductivity, the blend is mixed with (C) 40-100pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. total amount of carbon black (e.g., acetylene black, etc.,). |
