PURPOSE:To make light from a light source to be incident efficiently into an incident slit, by providing a condenser lens positioning means or the like to move a condenser lens. CONSTITUTION:A laser light for light source is made incident in a Raman cell 2 and the Raman's scattered light emits from the cell 2 to be incident into an incident slit 5 passing through a condenser lens 3 and a vibration lens 4. The incident light further enters a sample irradiating section 6 to sense the luminous intensity with a photosensor 7. When the vibration lens 4 is vibrated along the optical axis or in the direction vertical thereto with the condenser lens 3 at the position not optimum, the output signal of the photosensor 7 contains component waves with the frequency the same with the vibration frequency of the vibration lens 4. The output signal is applied to a servo motor 11 through a phase synchronizing detector 10 to move the condenser lens 3 along the optical axis so that the components of the frequency the same as the vibration frequency of the lens 4 will be zero. This makes the Raman's scattered light to be incident into the sample irradiating section most efficiently. |
