PURPOSE:To increase driving speed, to miniaturize the titled driver for a stepping motor, to eliminate the need for a special radiator plate and to improve reliability by converting DC power supply into previously determined motor-coil currents by using a rated current circuit. CONSTITUTION:An excitation changeover control circuit 1 outputs excitation signals determining the state of excitation of each phase coil L1, L2. Detecting voltage corresponding to the coil-current setting voltage and coil current value of a coil-current setting circuit 3 are inputted to a PWM control circuit 4 respectively, and PWM control signals controlling coil currents at a fixed value are outputted. PWM control signals are inputted to a constant-current power amplifying circuit 5, and exciting signals from the excitation changeover control circuit 1 are inputted to the circuit 5, and the circuit 5 excites a stepping motor M adequately. |
