PURPOSE:To prevent the inside of a copying process unit from being stained by opening the upper parts of a main charger and a transfer charger, providing a shutter to a cover opposite the opening parts, and opening and closing the shutter associatively with the mounting and demounting of the copying process unit. CONSTITUTION:The shutter 31 is pressed by a spring at any time, so the shutter 31 closes a shutter window unless the copying process unit 30 is put in a copying machine. When, however, the copying process unit 30 begins to be stored in a process unit storage part 53, the projection 33 of the shutter 31 engages a groove 42, so the shutter 31 is opened to the shutter window to open until the end of the snaking part of the groove 42, namely when the projection moves by length L. |
