PURPOSE:To stop a system immediately after a service interruption has been detected, by storing a data and a parameter of a floppy disk in an area which has been backed up by a battery, before executing write to the floppy disk. CONSTITUTION:A CMOSRAM 2 is used for a part of a main storage device (RAM) 1, and this part is driven by a battery. When a data in the RAM 1 is stored in a floppy disk 5, first of all, a data, and each parameter to be sent to the disk 5 are stored in an area of the CMOSRAM 2. Subsequently, a write flag is set, and the data is sent out to the disk 5 and written. If a service interruption has been generated when the data is being written onto the disk 5, a service interruption flag on the CMOSRAM 2 is set, and thereafter, an operation of a system is stopped. When starting the system, if the service interruption flag and the write flag have been set, the data on the CMOSRAM 2 is written in the disk 5 again. |
