PURPOSE:To perform cleaning operation which is stable for a long period by braking a web by a pressure roller which presses the web against a roller and taking up the web according to the quantity of the conveyed web. CONSTITUTION:A gear 14 fixed on the output shaft of a speed reducer 10 is coupled with a shaft 7a through gears 12, 13, and 14, and the gears 12 and 13 are coaxial with each other, made to come close to each other naturally by a spring 27, and pressed against friction members 12a and 13a fixed thereupon. Consequently if excessive torque operates on the shaft 7a, a slide is generated between both friction members 12a and 13a to stop the rotation of the shaft 7a. Namely, when the web is about to be taken up by the pressure roller 2 by more than the quantity of the conveyed web, the web is tensed between the roller 2 and shaft 7a and the torque operating on the shaft 7a becomes large to stop the take-up operation, so the web is never drawn forcibly and excessively. |
