<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the operation of a recording/reproducing device by shifting a sliding part of a recording/reproducing device to the 2nd position if a main power supply is cut off while the sliding part is kept at the 1st position and then the main power supply is applied to shift the sliding part to the 2nd position. CONSTITUTION:An outer housing 2 of a recording/reproducing device 1 is equal approximately to a thin box and a port 5 is formed at the left of the housing 2 to extract a sliding part 4 forming a mechanical chassis. A recording medium is loaded to the part 4 via a loading part 41 for a recording medium. If a main power supply is cut off while the part 4 is kept at the 1st position, an indication is given to shift the part 4 to the 2nd position through the operation of a control panel 3. Thus the main power supply is applied to move the part 4 to the 2nd position. In such a way, the operation of a recording/reproducing device is simplified.</p> |
