PURPOSE:To light up the surface of an original to form a picture stably independently of equal magnification or variable magnification by arranging a lighting means on the intermediate position between equal magnification and variable magnification image pickup means and switching the irradiating direction to the side of the selected image pickup means. CONSTITUTION:A variable magnification lens array 1 and an equal magnification lens array 4 are screwed on a fitting board 20 to be moved on a rail 19, a light source lamp 9 and a reflecting shade 6 are fixed on a mount 18 and the mount 18 can be rotated around a shaft 18a. If variable magnification is specified from the shown equal magnification position, a fixing member 20b is moved to the right by a wire 21 and the lens array 1 is moved to the right. The reflecting shade 6 is rotated around the shaft 18a in the clockwise direction and the lamp 9 irradiates the variable magnification array 1. Thus, the lamp 9 irradiates the surface of the original properly independently of equal magnification of variable magnification, so that a stable picture can be formed. |
