<p>In the upright reactor (1) with a reactor cover (2), the reactor chamber is laterally delimited by finned tubes (3) which carry a flow of cooling medium. The finned tubes (3) are provided with a refractory layer which forms the lining of the reactor chamber. The transition between the reactor body (1) and the reactor cover (2) is provided with further cooling (11). The reactor can always be adjusted to the thermal conditions which are necessary for producing fine grades of carbon black. <IMAGE></p> |
