<p>Acrylamide derivatives (alkenoyl carbamates) of formula (I) are new: CH2=CR-CO-NH-CO-X-Y R = H or 1-8C alkyl; X = -O-, -S-, -NH-, or -NR-; Y = residue of active H atom contg. cpd. (excl.-X-H). Also claimed are: (i) soln. of (I) in an organic solvent whose solubility parameter is pref. at least 8; and (ii) polymer prepd. by polymsn. of (I) opt. in admixt. with a copolymerisable comonomer.</p> |
