<p>An automated transport system includes free travelling trolleys 14o,p,q,r, a downwardly sloping rail portion 12 for the trolleys and chain driven pushers 15o,p,q,r for propelling the trolleys along the rail 12, wherein brackets 70o,p,q,r limit the distance by which a trolley can roll ahead of its associated pusher on the downwardly sloping rail portion 12. The brackets 70o,p,q,r are mounted on the chain, for pivotal movement between a trolley loading position and a trolley blocking position, a short distance in front of the associated pusher and respectively extend into the path of the associated trolley to confine the trolley between the bracket and the pusher. <IMAGE></p> |
