<p>The process consists of (a) starting up a steam generator to heat water contained in separate tanks, pref. 7 in number, by means of a closed circuit steam coil; (b) suspending the bags on vertical carrier bars, which are introduced into the compartments; (c) adding a fixed amount of degreasant into each tank, pref. caustic soda; and (d) once the bags have been boiled, removing them from the tanks and carrier bars and passing them to a rinsing station.</p> |
