PURPOSE:To obtain the harmony of the whole external appearance of a timepiece by providing a vacant chamber for accommodating any other arbitrary display, making only the tips of hands for indicting an hour, a minute and the like visible and making the hands circulate around said other display. CONSTITUTION:Hands 4-6 are vertically bent so that the indication thereof is observed in shallow positions and the tips of the hands are conspicuously colored by fluorescent paint or the like. A partition member 8 for protecting the hands 4-6 from the contact with the other display is windowed or made transparent in the portions corresponding to the tips of the hands 4-6, whereby a time display is made visible and the partition member 8 is fixedly fit to a case drum 1 at the periphery. An accommodating portion 9 formed by the partition member 8 on the front of a movement 2 is adapted for a user to be able to select and mount the other arbitrary display (e.g., photograph, picture) therein. A front lid 11 is made of a transparent material so that said other display and the time display are visible and fixedly fit to the partition member 8 at the periphery by the resilience of the lid 11 and a user can easily exchange said other display by disengaging a fit between the lid 11 and the partition member 8 to remove the lid 11. |
