PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency by a method wherein a supporting leg for working, which is capable of being inserted into and fixed detachably to the end of tube among the group of heat transfer tubes, is provided at the tip end of a working arm and an working equipment is attached rotatably about the supporting leg for working with a rotating radius equal to one pitch of arrangement of the tubes of group of heat transfer tubes. CONSTITUTION:The moving body 7 of automatic working device 4 is moved by itself on the surface of tube nest of the group of heat transfer tubes 2, arranged in zigzag, and is supported through a supporting leg 15 provided on a guide rail 5, thereafter, the working arm 10 is faced toward the starting position of working, then, the supporting leg 17 for working, which is provided at the tip end of the working arm, is inserted into and fixed to the predetermined heat transfer tube 2 while the working equipment can be turned about the supporting leg 17 for working. In this case, the working equipment 11 can be turned freely about the supporting leg 17 independently from the working arm 10, therefore, the equipment 11 can be turned without any trouble even when the rotating radius is set within the range of pitch of arrangement of the tubes in the group of heat transfer tubes 2. Accordingly, a load moment, generated by a reaction force upon working, may be reduced while the main body of the automatic working device 4 may be supported surely even in the work, in which a big load is applied. |
