PURPOSE:To prevent damage and deterioration of a photosensitive body due to a cleaning blade to form images of good quality on forms for a long time by forming the cleaning blade with an elastic body containing a lubricant and bringing the edge part of the cut face of the elastic body into contact with the surface of the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A lubricant 20 is exposed on a cut face 12a of a cleaning blade 12. Though the lubricant 20 is not exposed on the surface before the cleaning blade material is cut, the surface is cut with a cutter to expose the lubricant 20 to the cut face. When the lubricant exposed face as the cut face 12a is brought into contact with the surface of a photosensitive body 1, the resistance of friction between the photosensitive body 1 and the cleaning blade 12 is reduced. Thus, not only the function which peels forms by the cleaning blade is held but also damage and deterioration of the photosensitive body are difficult to occur, and the occurrence of white omission and black stripes on copy papers is prevented for a long time. |
