This light-signal generator is formed from at least one single chamber which has a reflector, a lamp and a diffusion lens in a housing. The lamp is formed from a temperature-compensated compact fluorescent lamp which is operated in standby mode. A heating element, for example a PTC resistor, is provided for temperature compensation, which is switched in dependence on the environmental temperature of the fluorescent lamp. The heating element can be arranged directly at the tube or between the tubes of the fluorescent lamp or on the reflector. A thin-walled transparent white or coloured cylinder can be attached above the fluorescent lamp. Furthermore, the rear of the reflector can additionally have a heat-insulating layer. <IMAGE> |
