PURPOSE:To attain a high quality picture by providing a vertical synchronizing signal phase variable circuit and increasing virtually the horizontal scanning line to improve the resolution to a still picture displayed on the screen. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal and vertical synchronizing signal separated by a synchronizing separator circuit 1 is fed to a phase variable circuit 2. The phase variable circuit 3 generates a vertical synchronizing signal having different phase at each field, it is fed to a vertical deflection circuit 4 so as to defect longitudinally an electronic beam generated by a cathode ray tube 6. Moreover, the horizontal synchronizing signal separated by the synchronizing signal separating circuit 1 is fed to a horizontal deflection circuit 20 so as to deflect the electron generated from the cathode ray tube 6 laterlally. The picture is displayed on the cathode ray tube by the vertical and horizontal scanning, the horizontal scanning line number is increased apparently by providing the vertical synchronizing signal phase variable circuit 3 to improve the resolution of the display picture. |
