PURPOSE:To delete power consumption and to prolong the life of a picture tube or the like by supplying automatically a power source voltage to a deflecting circuit and a video output circuit when a human being is present in an effective angle of visibility of the picture tube. CONSTITUTION:Even when a power source switch 21 is set to a heavy-load (TV) state, the supply of a power source voltage to a deflecting circuit 19 and a video output circuit 20 is controlled by a sensor drive circuit 22 connected in series and the operation (connection) is connected by a sensing level of a viewer sensing sensor 23. Only when the viewer exists within a range of an effective angle of visibility of a picture tube disposed in a cabinet, the viewer sensing sensor 23 reacts, the sensor drive circuit 22 operates to close the power source switch 21 and the power source voltage is supplied to the deflecting circuit 19 and the video output circuit 20. Thereby, a driving operation of a picture display on surface of the picture tube of a TV receiver can be automatically executed, wasteful power consumption due to wasteful use can be prevented. |
