PURPOSE:To prevent adhesion of air stream to a lower side guide wall in case airflow is blown horizontally and obtain regulated blow-off distribution of air by a method wherein a step, provided on the surface of the guide wall located below opposing upper and lower guide walls and projected with respect to the stream of air, is provided in the title device. CONSTITUTION:The step 11, provided on the surface of the guide wall 8 located at the lower side between the upper and lower guide wall 7, 8 having gradually expanding configuration and projected with respect to the stream of air, is provided with a slit 12 to flow dew water into the inside of the air conditioner. In case the airflow is blown off horizontally in this constitution, the stream of air, passing the lower side of upper and lower vanes 9 and adhered to the guide wall 8 located below the vanes 9, is guided upward by the projecting step 11 and can be joined easily with the stream passing through the upper side of the vanes 9. Accordingly, the airflow, regulated in horizontal direction, may be blown off and the comfortable property of air conditioning may be improved. On the other hand, dew water, generated during room cooling, may be retrieved by the step 11 and dripping of the dew water may be prevented. |
