<p>PURPOSE:To execute a remote control operation while confirming an operating state at hand by switching the display of the operating state of a recording or reproducing means from a body side display part to a remote control side display part at the use of remote control operation. CONSTITUTION:When a remote control part 7 is connected to a VTR body 1 and a switch 13 is turned on, a transmission confirming signal is supplied from a main system controller 5 to a remote control side system controller 9 through a line E. When the controller 9 is turned to the operating status, the transmission confirming signal is outputted to the controller 5, the instruction and display of operation are executed by the remote control part 7. The controller 5 outputs an operation instruction signal B for stopping the display operation to a body side system controller 3 to stop the display operation of the controller 3. After suppressing the display of a display part 4, action instruction operation by a remote control side operation part 8 in the remote control part 7 and the operation of display by a remote control side display part are controlled by the controller 9.</p> |
