PURPOSE:To set surely an original in a fixed position on an original platen and improve the original feeding speed as the whole by changing the original feeding speed in accordance with the original feed mode of the double face original copying operation. CONSTITUTION:In an original feed mode A, an original inverting mode C, and an original eject mode E during the double face original copying operation, the voltage applied to an original feeding motor 47 is set to V1 to raise the motor rotative speed and the feeding speed, the carrying speed, and the ejecting speed of the original are increased thereby. In an original front face set mode B and an original rear face set mode D, the voltage applied to the original feeding motor 47 is set to V2 to reduce rather the motor rotative speed, and the original is softly brought into contact with a stopper and is set surely in the fixed position on the original platen without getting over the stopper neither rebounding from the stopper. |
