<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently remove an objective substance, by providing a bacteria immobilized bed to one place of a ring shaped water channel so as to traverse said water channel. CONSTITUTION:An OD tank 30 is constituted by mounting a partition wall 32 at the center of the tank surrounded by an oval outer wall 31 to form a ring shaped water channel. A first bacteria immobilized bed 34 and a second bacteria immobilized bed 36 are provided on the way of the water channel so as to traverse said water channel. The sewage in the OD tank 30 is recirculated along the ring shaped water channel by driving a rotor 12 and aerated by the rotation of the rotor 12. The sewage brought to an aerobic state receives the action of suspended sludge during the recirculation process thereof and the org. substance contained in sewage is decomposed by oxidation to purity sewage. When denitrifying bacteria was immobilized in the second bacteria immobilized bed 36, nitrate nitrogen is converted to nitrogen gas by denitrifying bacteria and a nitrogen component is effectively removed from sewage.</p> |
