PURPOSE:To provide the titled resin compsn. having well-balanced properties between excellent heat resistance and high elasticity, by blending a poly phenylene oxide with an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer rubber. CONSTITUTION:A polyphenylene oxide compsn. comprising a polyphenylene oxide (A) having a structural unit of the formula and an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer rubber (B) in a weight ratio of A/B of 100/1-100/20. In the formula, R1-R4 are each H, halogen, hydrocarbon group, substd. hydrocarbon group, cyano, alkoxy, phenoxy, nitro, amino and sulfo groups. Said ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer rubber has a hot toluene-insoluble content of 30-95wt% and an average particle size of 0.2-10mu in the compsn. |
