PURPOSE:To enable the automatic volume- (or weight-)metering division of a bathing agent compounded with a crude drug composed mainly of GAIYO (leaf of Artemisia princeps), by adding a binder such as alcohol and a GAIYO- dispersing agent such as inorganic acid and organic acid to the crude drug. CONSTITUTION:A bathing agent compounded with a crude drug composed mainly of GAIYO effective to the oversensitivity to cold, neuralgia, lumbago, gastric or intestinal disease, etc., is prepared by compounding the above crude drug with (A) a binder for the physical bonding of GAIYO and other crude drugs and selected from an alcohol and a liquid perfumery and (B) powder of inorganic acid, inorganic salt, organic acid or organic salt. The amounts of the components A and B are preferably 5-50pts.wt. and 300-700pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of GAIYO. The bathing agent can be divided by volume-metering or weight-metering automatic dividing process. A bathing agent packaged in the form of infusion or tea-bag can be easily produced on an industrial scale. |
